Terms of service
The rules for using posa, in the app or on this site: who can do what in a roll, what happens to the photos and how purchases work. By using posa you accept them.

Who provides the service
The service is provided by --. For any question about these terms, write to hello@posa-app.com.
The service
With posa, every event gets its own shared disposable camera. Whoever organizes it, the host, creates a roll and chooses how many guests it takes, how many photos each can take and when it develops. Guests join with the invite link, QR or code, from the app or the browser. Until it develops the photos stay veiled; after, everyone in the roll sees them.
Accounts and age
To create a roll you sign in with Apple or Google. To join someone else's, a name is enough: a guest account lives in the session, so if you reinstall the app or change phone without signing in with Apple or Google, you lose access to the rolls you were in.
You must be at least 14. Under 18, a parent or guardian has to make any purchase.
Keep the Apple or Google account you use safe: whoever uses it also uses posa as you.
If you host an event
You decide who to invite, and the invite works for anyone who gets it: share it with the people you want in the roll. You can remove a person or a photo, and reports come to you. If the event is somewhere people might not want to be photographed, let guests know that posa is in use.
Your photos
The photos and voice messages you leave stay yours. You only give us permission to store them, process them and show them to the people in the same roll, and to place them in the posa frame when someone shares one: what it takes to run the service, nothing more. The permission ends when the photos are deleted.
After the roll develops, anyone in it can save the photos to their phone and share them. What happens outside posa is beyond our control: before you shoot, think about who will see it.
What's not allowed
There is no tolerance on posa for objectionable content or abusive users.
Photographing or recording anyone who asked you not to. Posting photos that are violent, sexually explicit, or that target, humiliate or harass someone. Any content involving minors in an inappropriate way. Material you don't have the right to share. Anything illegal.
Getting around a roll's limits, joining rolls you weren't invited to, using posa in an automated way or trying to disrupt it.
If it happens, the host or we can remove the photos and people involved, and we can suspend or close the account. Where the law requires it, we report the content to the authorities.
Reports
In the app, open the photo and tap “Report”. The host sees the reason, not who reported it, and decides whether to remove it. If a photo is illegal, or concerns you and isn't solved, write to hello@posa-app.com with the event: we look at it ourselves and answer you.
Purchases
You pay once per event, never a subscription. Up to 5 guests a roll is free; above that, the price depends on the number of guests and you see it in the app before confirming. Photos per person are the same in every tier. Longer storage is also bought once, and can only be extended.
Payment goes through Apple or Google, under their terms: the store shows price, currency and taxes. A purchase activates the roll right away; by confirming it you ask for the service to start immediately, and the 14-day right of withdrawal consumers have ends with activation. Refunds are requested from Apple or Google, who decide under their own rules.
If the payment goes through but the roll doesn't activate, the app retries the activation without charging you again; if it isn't solved, write to hello@posa-app.com. Promotions, when there are any, go through App Store and Google Play promo codes and count as a normal purchase. If you change phone, Account has “Restore purchases”.
How long photos stay
A roll stays online for the period chosen: 90 days, 1 year or 10 years. A week before it ends we warn everyone; then photos and voice messages are deleted and can't be recovered. A roll is not an archive: save the photos you care about to your phone.
If the host deletes the roll or their account, the photos go with it, for everyone.
The veil
The veil is a rule in the app, not a lock on the server. We are moving it there, but until then we don't promise a photo stays hidden before the roll develops: shoot assuming everyone will see it sooner or later.
If the service changes
The service may change, have outages or, one day, shut down. If it shuts down, we say so at least 30 days ahead, so anyone can save their photos.
If we change these terms in a way that affects you, we say so in the app before they apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using posa and delete your account.
Liability
We do our best for posa to work and for photos to arrive, but the service is provided as is: a photo may not go through if the network drops or the phone dies. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for content users post or for indirect damages. Nothing here limits our liability for intent or gross negligence, or the rights the law gives consumers.
Closing your account
You can do it whenever you want: in the app, Account → Delete account, or by following the steps at posa-app.com/delete-account.
Governing law
Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, disputes go to the courts where you live, and the mandatory protections of your country still apply. Before getting there, write to us: almost everything gets solved that way.
